By participating in the Competition, you warrant that all statements made by you, or personal details provided by you are true, correct, accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
By participating in the Competition, you warrant that you have read and understood all of the Rules and Guidelines of the Competition and agree to be unconditionally bound by it.
By entering the Competition, you represent and affirm that your participation is an original creative work, and where it is not, that you shall provide credit to the original source. You also represent and affirm that your participation does not infringe, misappropriate or violate the copyright, trademark or other intellectual rights of any third party.
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any Participant for any reason at their absolute discretion including but not limited to violation of the Rules and Guidelines.
All costs and expenses incurred in accordance with your participation in the Competition is your sole responsibility and shall be fully borne by you.
The Organiser shall not be held responsible or liable for any illness and/or personal injury to you, or loss and/or damage to your personal property.
In the case of unforeseeable events, the Organiser reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the Competition, and/or reschedule or modify the format or any requirements of the Competition at any point of time in its sole discretion without prior notice.
You agree to not hold the Organiser responsible or to indemnify the Organiser and/or its affiliates against all claims, demands, losses, damages, judgments, liabilities, disputes and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Competition including but not limited to any infringement, misappropriation or violation of copyright, trademark or other intellectual rights of any third party.
You acknowledge that by submitting your personal details, you agree to allow the Organiser to access, collect, process, use and share your personal data only for publicity or commercial purposes or for the purposes of any future promotion or marketing efforts by the Organiser.
The Organiser is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the personal data of all Participants in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), and undertakes not to disclose, reveal, share, transfer, sell, or rent any of the personal data unless it is strictly for the abovementioned purposes, for legal regulatory and compliance purposes, or where otherwise required by law.
The Organiser shall comply with its relevant privacy policies in respect of your personal data. The Organiser holds the right to retain the personal data collected from you for a necessary period of time or for a period that is in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, or for the purposes of protecting the interests of the Organiser.
By submitting the script or video for the Competition, you grant the Organiser exclusive rights of the copyright and ownership over the script or video submitted and the Organiser shall use, retain and/or reproduce the script or video submitted for purposes including but not limited to marketing, information, education, promotional, or commercial use globally, at no cost. The Organiser reserves the right to publicise and promote the script or video for its own purposes and all work will be credited to the creators. The Organiser reserves the right to retain ownership of all scripts and videos submitted for the purposes of utilising the same in any of the following but not limited to marketing, information, education, promotional, publication or commercial use by the Organiser.
This Rules and Guidelines contain the entire agreement between you and the Organiser.
If any of the rules and/or portion thereof in this Rules and Guidelines are held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any Malaysian court of competent jurisdiction, such rules and/or portion thereof shall be rendered ineffective and shall not invalidate and/or render unenforceable the remaining rules in the Rules and Guidelines.
Any express or implied waiver to perform any obligations under these Rules & Guidelines is not permitted and will be invalid.
A person who is not a party to these Rules and Guidelines has no legal right under the Malaysian Contracts Act 1950 or under common law to enforce any rule of these Rules and Guidelines.
In the event of any controversy or claim arising out of or in relation to the Rules and Guidelines, or the breach thereof, these Rules and Guidelines shall be governed by Malaysian laws, and you shall hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. Nothing in this rule shall limit the Organiser’s right to take proceedings against you in any other court of competent jurisdiction.
If either party is prevented from performing any of its obligations hereunder due to any cause which is beyond the non-performing party'sreasonable control, including fire, explosion, flood, virus outbreaks or other acts of God; acts, regulations, or laws of any government; war or civil commotion; strike, lock-out or labour disturbances; or failure of public utilities or common carriers (a "Force Majeure Event"), such non-performing party shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligation under the Rules and Guidelines with respect to such non-performance to the extent any such non-performance is due to a Force Majeure Event.

These Rules and Guidelines were published on 29 January 2022 and shall apply to all Participants of the Competition.
The Organiser reserves the right to update, remove and/or amend the Rules and Guidelines of the Competition at any point of time in its sole discretion without prior notice and you shall be informed of the relevant changes by the Organiser through the official website of the Competition.
